Realmeteo is a program that has been created by REAL METEO in 2006 and the same similarities as Google Earth (this is not real, because Google heart display static photos, old of many mounts, RealMeteo display realtime udated images) . The tool bears compatibility with Windows Me/2000/XP/Vista/7. It allows you to get a grasp of images that have been taken from the satellite and that can somehow be used for meteorological purposes. An advantage of this program compared to other similar ones is that you can even get some non static sights that will allow you to follow the movements of the different weather conditions.
Realmeteo is an automated browser, that work without need manual operations. After configurated, it work forever with parameters choiced.
Put it on autostart folder, and if main power missing, when return, realmeteo start automatically and work.
It is idael soluction for hotels, city public display, mountain refuges, little airport, ports and commercial center.
Advantages:
You can choose between the display of animated or non animated weather images
They allow you to make a precise forecast on the weather
You can have a better idea of the weather conditions through some available links to other weather websites. This is a very good tool for meteorological places.
It is not difficult to use and can thus be tried by anyone
It connect automatically at internet when you want (periodically, from 10 minuts to 720 minutes) , download images, then disconnect, to save money of expensive connection, same cellular phones and pay for navigate.
Also webcam are supported, and user can request to add own local webcams at database
Disadvantages:
You must have a good internet connection to be able to view the animated images (this is not real, animated images are buffered during connection, then are displayed normally without need of connection)
You should have a good Graphic Card to be able to perfectly display the images and the non static images proposed. (This is not real, because realmeteo auto-adjust resoluction on display, from 640x480 to 6400x4800 pixel, without missin any part of image)
