I Downloaded songs of limewire But now I dont no how to put them in itunes..can anyone help me out and tell me how to transfer my music to itunes Thanks

Hey ... I just had a nightmare trying to load my music back into itunes ... the answer is simple really just select all the files that you want to transfer or even the folder and drag them into the itunes - make sure that you click on the music library then drag and drop files into the big window that displays all the files data.

The easiest way to do it is set it in your LIme Wire Preferences to download them directly to Itunes. Thats how I do it.

Once u've downloaded yur songs on limewire go to file on itunes and press add file to libary then all yur songs on limewire shud cum up then yu jus click on the songs then press open, but yu hve to do it 1 by 1, kindah long but worth it

but if yur itunes says import on the file bit press dat then all yur songs shud transfer to itunes

All you have to do is download itunes if you have it,but.. if you do go to my computer and press PRESARIO (C:) and you'll find all the music you downloaded onto your computer, the you press on the song to play it and it'll go straight intoyour itunes gallery click on every song you want to go into the itunes.

Well I'm sorry if it will not work I just guess your computer doesn't work as mine does then.

Just make sure both limewire and your music managing thing is up then drag the songs from limewire to the minimized manager then it will pop up and keep it held until you hit library then from the library you drag it to whatever your ipods name is.

After you download music on limewire you click on explore at the bottom of the download box, and then there will be a box that comes up and you right click on the song in the box that you want to go on itunes, and scroll down to open with and click on itunes and that song will automaticlly show up on itunes.

Hello reader,
All you need to do is save your music in a folder (lets say you call it Limewire) then you go onto iTunes and in the top left corner there is a button saying file (click on it.)
Then it will come down with many features you need to click on the one what says import folder to library.
You then click on the one what says in our case limewire, and then you click ok and it will start to put your music into your iTunes library. This may take a couple of minutes depending on how much you want to put in.

after the download of your song is done right click on the song then click on explore. then click on my computer click on your ipod connection thing and then when you see your song in it right click on it and click on open with then click on itunes and then it starts playing on you itunes then on itune go on music then right click the song and click  to add to playlist and then click on ipod and it goes on your ipod hope that helps :)

Open iTunes
Open the File thing on the iYunes toolbar
Go down until you see the Add FIle to Library... thing
You should open that and see a little window called Add to library
You should be in the Saved file 
Click on the file you want and then click Open
The file should be in your iTunes Library

you have to highlight all of your songs that are on limewire and once all highlighted click enqueue. ocne all the songs appear on the bottom click save as, make sure you save to the documents file. open up itunes, and go to file library import playlist. go to your documents and double click on the file what you have saved it under.

its a bit complex you have to find the file where all your songs from limewire are, im not sure about this because I use bearshare and on bearshare  I just right click on the song and it says get file.. I press that then it comes with the file where all the songs are. I highlight them then click and drag them to where I normally put my music (on windows vista - music) then im not sure if you no the rest but then go to itunes then file then add file. Just click on the music you want to add then it will me added to itunes.

First of all, you need to get your old library where you would normally download and just drag your songs to your library!!! If this does not work, then you have a virus from lime-wire. Go to www.aimini.net. you can download songs then drag to library. If you use mac this will go onto your library automatically . Try this

hey I love limewire, and I got all of my songs from there...
heres how you import them to iTunes:

1. go to wherever your songs are being saved (mine are under Start > My Documents > LimeWire > Saved)
2. (just to make sure...) right click on any song, and there should be something about "Open with" --> make sure that is iTunes
3. double-click on that saved song, and it should directly import itself into your iTunes library

All you do is click file in the corner of itunes,the add file to library.Then you simply find where you saved the music from limewire ,click the song you want to put on itunes click open in the bottom corner and hopefully the song will then be in your itunes library.Hope I helped!

Okay, I JUST figured this out, so bear with me.

Assuming you haven't just deleted limewire from your desktop altogether; open the desktop short cut.
You also want to have iTunes open and your ipod connected to the comp. via USB cable.
You will want your ITunes open to your library/Music

Once you are at your at the limewire homepage, open up your library. (use the tabs at the top of the top of the web page)

Once in your library, there should be an icon of an open folder labled 'explore'.
It should open another window

You want to then click on 'Compaq (C:)'

From there, you want to go to 'users'

You want to click on 'home' Open it.

Then you want to click 'documents'

Then you want to click 'limewire'

You then should have 3 options; Incomplete, Saved, and Store Purchases

You want to click on 'saved'

Once in saved you should get a list of all the songs you have downloaded from livewire that are in your library there.

To make it easier on yourself, I would suggest going over to the tab with the # symbol on it and click the down arrow on the right side of the # symbol. You will click'group'

You songs should now be grouped together by the number of sources that were downloaded from.

What I then want you to do is click and hold on the line that seperates the groups.

You want to drag the mouse over to the bottom of the screen where your iTunes tab is. It should attomatically pop open for you without you letting go of the mouse. You want to drag it to the middle of the list of songs that are already on your ipod.

Let go of the mouse.

Put Limewire on one side of your screen, then put iTunes on the other side of your screen. Now drag the song from your Limewire library to your iTunes library.
