Opening a asp file on a pc with dynamic ip

Hello,

i have a asp file hosted on a local pc (lets call it serverpc) in our office lan, that needs to be accessible to my team 24/7.
The problem i have is that, due to a security policy i cannot assign a static ip and have to rely on the dynamic ip allocation to this pc. The host name is what i have to be content with.

i need help in trying to find the ip of this serverpc.
can we have a batch file that can ping the hostname, return the ip address and launch the asp file from within the lan and from pc's remotely connected to the LAN
