CD-RW write protected

Hello,
i got a cd-rw the other day,now when i try to format/erase it it says its write protected!!!i only burned a few songs off nero on it.please help?and when i try to erase it with nero,it just says this is not a rewritable??

Configuration: Windows Vista
Firefox 3.0.1

Friend,
you should make in cmd like that

CLR_WRITE_PROT "LOCATION WHERE YOU WISH" /a /s /Q

This will help you to remove your problem, if your disc is really RW. Or not , try the new one.

I tried that on the command prompt. it di'int work. i wanna clear the write protection off of a DVD-RM, and i've searched for countless hours trying these programs that are supposed to clear the whole disk no matter what. and guess what. they di'int work.
