Vista failed to boot.

Hello,
i have this laptop called acer.. it had windows vista on it(pre-installed) so i don't have a disk. i was doing system restore and i shut my laptop half way through =( and i re-started it. and it's not working...it syas at the beggening preparing to boot OS..and then it show a blank screen with a small flashing underline and it never goes away =( can anyone help?

Internet Explorer 7.0

take it to a repair shop and have them reload VISTA using the COA key that's on the laptop.
