If you forgot your key, the only realistic and simple suggestion is to reset your router to factory defaults and reconfigure it.

Easy. I replace my laptop like most people replace cell phones so I always have to reset my connection.
1. Call your providers tech support and they can get it for you or if you have another computer that is still connected you can look it up yourself

type 192.168.1.1 in the address bar, a little box will pop up wanting a password, the user I.D. is Admin and the password is "password". Then the netgear page will pop up and go to wireless settings to get your key.

What do you do if it says that "admin" and "password" are invalid?
