Sygate Personal Firewall Pro (Not Responding)

Hello,

To days after installing Windows Hotmail on to my PC it now seems to be blocked from connecting to facebook and Hotmail. Each time I connect to the internet the same message comes up on to the screen:

"Sygate Oersonal Firewall Pro 09/26/2008 16.05.37 (Not Responding)

Windows Live Messenger (msnmsgr.exe) is trying to connect to messenger.hotmail.com [65.54.239.210] using rmote port 1863 (MSNP - MSN Messenger Service Protocol). Dp you want to allow this program to access the network?"

When trying to click on either options 'yes', 'no' or 'Detail' the curser turns into an egg timer and I can not do anything to remove it.

Since this problem there has been no successful connection to either facebook or hotmail.

Do you know how to solve this?
