Cannot connect to the internet through wifi

Hello,
The problem started after I reinstalled the OS. I had to reinstall the linksys router too. I am able to connect through the ethernet cable but when I try to connect through the wifi it says "Your Internet connection is not configured properly. Please verify your settings in Data Connections". I am able to connect to the wifi before. What seems to be the problem?

Configuration: Windows XP
Firefox 3.0.2

Hello,

have you checked well if the driver for the wifi adapter on your computer is correctly installed and then try to make the connection manually. if it needs a wep key then have the key ready and by the way can you tell me what operating system are you using?
