hey,
my brother has been building his new pc and now we get to the stage of booting it up, nothing comes up on screen.
its a new motherboard, new cpu, new gfx card, new hdd, pretty much everything is new except the wireless card...
the motherboard doesnt make a beeping sound on startup but all the fans run, dvd drive works, hdd tries to boot up.
i cleaned the ram, refitted cards, went over cabling 5 times, reset CMOS and nothing is working.

can someone please help coz its really starting to get on my nerves and the pc place near here wants $199 just to look at it.......

any help is appreciated, cheersConfiguration: Windows Vista Internet Explorer 7.0

hello,

if you tell me that you have tried all thses things then you must have surely tested for the motherboard by unplugging everything and letting only the cpu fitted and the memory modules?

if you have done that just tell me has the pc start up?

if not then there must surely be something wrong with the motherboard and i would recommend you that you bring at once the motherboard from where you bought it.

see you
