You have no sound drivers installed

What machine do you have? Manufacturer and Model will do
What "Sound" are you trying to install?

can't help without knowing what sound card you have, well I can but sounds like a link to DriverPacks may not be enough for you to sort your problem so post more info and I will do a easy how to for you.

My soundcard has stopped working after a couple of times. I have noticed that it is usually after windows or my firewall updates.
To resolve:
Right click on my computer and select manage.
You now have the computer management window open.
Beneath Services and Applications select services.

No problem. This is a very annoying problem that took me a little while to figure out the first time it happened. I am convinced this occurs after updates as it has occurred on 2 separate occasions, and both times after my firewall and windows had just completed an update. So I am not sure if one or both of these occuring simultaneously is causing the problem. From surfing the web, it seems like a rather common problem.

Hey I tried what you said and it didn't work. It said it was started so I tried to hit stop then start again and it still doesn't work. When I try to play something it says Windows Media Player cannot play the file because there is a problem with your sound device. There might not be a sound device installed on your computer, it might be in use by another program, or it might not be functioning properly. Can you please help me?
