Hello,
New laptop. Installed firefox 3.6. Trying to install Adobe Flash. Adobe has instructions for installing flash using firefox, which includes several steps, the first of which is "Look for the yellow band at the top of your screen and click on "Edit options". Prob: not yellow band at the top of the firefox band. Naturally, I can't proceed. Any suggestions welcome.

Thanks.
Jim

try these steps:
in Firefox - click on Tools - Add ons - get ad-ons - browse all add-ons - Plugins - find Flash Player and click on download - after download is completed close Firefox - make note of where the file was downloaded to - close download window - open download folder using Explorer - double click flash file to start the install.

Good Luck
