Offline msn live messenger problems please he

Hello,
I successfully log on to msn live messenger and then I am immediately taken to a box saying i have offline messenges. Then I immediately got a box telliing me that msn live has encountered an error and would I like to send a report. Whether I send one or not msn live messenger then shuts down. Please help Kevan

You need to go to microsoft web page and check for updates, download al updates available. you have a problem with the update section of your machines registry and a service pack will put this right

if this does not work, simply un-install windows live messenger and reboot then re install again from the microsoft website
