Hi there,
To remove write protection,open run then type regedit and go to:HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\StorageDevicePolicies ,set the write protection value to infinity (0).You can also follow the instructions on link below from faq section:
