Isdn configuration on internet

Hello,

i have one cisco 1812 series router connected with my other branch. Now at leisure time i also want to use it for internet access. and i m new in that fields.

so anybody plz tell me the details configuration and hardware requirement like modem.
or am i need any username and password for internet access by ISP.
as far i know that both r possible but don't have any clear idea.

I need details step by step configureatin like.
dialing no. to ISP, username and password needed if any?
Or modem need so kind of modem should i buy?
and also
also configuration command on router?

plz help any help would be appreciated.

Hi,

if you are using a router then you wont need to have a modem to get intenet connection you can use the router and via lan cable you can access the internet but for the dialing number and the user name and the password you must negociate with your internet service provider they must give you the settings because diferrent country has different dialing numbers, user names and password

Hi i have a cisco 1812K9 router with isdn connection.

it is configured to connect with my branch office.
and i heard that i can also access internet.
i heard also that i need TA for that.
and dialing no. from my isp.

Frend could u please guide me to connect and how to configure it.
means what interface i have configure.

My office connectivity details is 4 systems connected with router via swith switch is connected to FE0, and ISDN line is into BRI s/t port.

So for configuration of internet access what port should i use. and plz plz plz let me know the configuration details.

Basically i m from India.
hope u will help me.

Good Evening Frend.

r u sure that i don't need any modem.
can i access both my application and Internet simultaneously?
plz give me the configuration details that what interface should configure?
and how to connect lan cable to my pc becoz only one ehternet port on my pc and which is connected to my local lan.
should i use any eternal lan cable becoz lan is also necessary.and where to connect the other end of lan cable on router i mean on which port of router. normal or wan port ?
plz read my router connectivity

FE0 is connected to swithc. and Bri s/t with isdn line up and running.
so should i use other end of lan cable to FE1.
plz give me clear view.

plz help yaar would be much appreciating
