Hello,
I want to install It says ESET NOD32 Antivirus. The problem is that when I install it, It says "Before installing ESET NOD32 Antivirus, you must uninstall your existing antivirus solution." It's very bad, because I have others that are good (AVG, McAfee and Antimalware). Do I really have to?

Configuration: Windows XP
Firefox 3.0.1

Hey there,

just try to download a software called superantispyware from www.superantispyware.com and then just try to make a complete full scan of your computer

Hey ory1994, you don't need to put many anti-virus program in your system. This will make your anti-virus programs not to work properly. For example, imagine working with many people in one situation? Do you think you can do the job correctly and effectively?..

And for my opinion its best to use NOD32 other than those anti virus you mention..NOD32 has a 100% rate in detecting viruses.

For the fix of your problem remove all the files and registry input. Try searchhing google for registry remover of McAfee and others.

This is the problem: 1. ESET NOD 32 is not bad
2. You cant install it because you have another antivrus programs
3. IS a PROBLEM when u have 2 or 3 antivirus programs. Is NOT RECOMENDED..when ur computer have 2 or 3 programs Antivirus is in DANGER

When you have two or more antivirus on your computer; the one you want to install is detected as " a virus" so to speak by the one lready installed. Besides, you don't want to slow down your computer especially at start

Hi, I installed Eset 32 not long ago, same thing happened.
Remove all other anti virus programmes.
I ran Defender, Spybot, SuperAntiSpyware, and another at once each day.
I deleted all 4 programmes and have good faith in nod 32 as it is an in depth scan and easy to use.
Go ahead and try it, you can always return to 3 or 4 anti virus at once, i felt they cluttered up the computer only.
Good luck.

I run AT&T antivirus software in tandem with the service they provide (AT&T internet security suite)
When I installed ESET my computer would freeze up whenever I clicked on anything, and it would not allow me to run the uninstall. I had to boot up in safe mode and restore my computer to a previous date in order to get it to no longer freeze. Is my problem a result of my having the AT&T antivirus or is there another problem?

You need to uninstall any other antivirus or spyware protection you have. I just uninstalled Norton and installed ESET and everything went smoothly. It's better safe than sorry! I would definitely uninstall anything else you may have.
