Hello,

I don't want my neighbors to be able to acces the shared files (in my network), so how do I block outside users from my network without blocking the 3 computers, bcoz my network places (Shared documents) connected to hub or access point of 15-20 members,

Configuration: Windows XP
mozilla Firefox 3.0.1

Heres one thing you do but you do need an accesible intenet conection available. launch internet explorer and enter 192.168.0.1in the address bar(do not enter www.)
a username and password login screen will appear in the username box enter cusadmin and password as the password then click login.
change the name of the ssid from the default setting to somethin personal then click apply to save the wireless setting.
Then click encryption under the wireless tab.
set the security drop down menu to wpa-psk.
in the wpa passphrase text box enter a random word or phrase 8 charecters as a minimum
makesure you keep the word or phrase because you will need it if u want to acces another within your network.
click apply and then your down =)

If that computer is XP pro, you can share file with user/group permission to block unauthorized access. Hope it helps..
