Cannot connect to external monitor

Hello,

I just bought LG W2243T today and I've tried to connect my laptop "HP Pavilion dv2000" to it.

After 6 hours, I can't get it work.


Please help. What happens in my laptop?


Note: I connected the monitor to my pc and it works right away.

You need to activate the vga port on the laptop via the correct function key. Have you done that?

You mean Fn+F4 ,right? I've done that.

Also I've tried Fn+Fx (all function keys).
