Restoring vista factory settings

Hello,
i was wondering if any one could help me i want to restore the factory settings on my acer aspire 5610z and i do not have the recovery disk, i have tried the alt and f10 method and i got a screen up that said boot option non executable, any help would be much appreciated

Configuration: Windows Vista
Firefox 3.0.1

You should have a seperate harddrive partition that is laballed recovery which will wipe your computer clean and then install OP again with the factory settings. Look under computer and it should be there. If that doesn't work then contact the place where you bought your PC from.

Hello you can restor acer computer to factory sttings it is on the hard drive click on it and then properties you will find there hope this was same help

Alt f10 hold it in and press it like crazy i had the same problem... it has to work i have extensa 5220
