Problems with router

grreyes6, on Saturday September 6, 2008 09:48:27 PM
Hello,
I have a linksys router-G. Also have a desktop. My internet connection is cable (roadrunner). My problem is when I hook up the router, both laptop and desktop work fine for about 2 weeks. Then i start to lose speed and eventually connection. But when I disconnect the router, the desktop goes back to normal. So the I reconnect router, once again everything is ok for about 2 weeks then it starts all over again. Would you assume its the router? If so what is a good router to get?

Thanks!
Configuration: Windows XP
Internet Explorer 6.0
