Windows x64 problems

Hello,

i have actually windows xp x64 installed on my machine and recently i bought a new wifi adapter and the driver installed successfully but now the problem is that i cant navigate on the internet constantly telling me that the network address is wrong and that i must contact the network administrator anyone can tell me what should i do please?

Configuration: Windows XP
Internet Explorer 7.0
