Call of duty 4 multiplayer not working

Hello,
Im russell and my multiplayer has stopped working also it says impx. multiplayer has stopped working or something like that i have tried uninstalling and reinstalling that doesnt work but i cannot think of anything else i can do anyone have a solution

Configuration: Windows Vista
Internet Explorer 7.0

I think you could have been infected by some malwares or spywares try downloading a software called superantispyware fron www.superantispyware.com and then run a complete full scan on your pc. also make sure your internet connection is correctly set and tell me by the way are you being able to get onto other pages?

This happened to me, plug in a mike and earphones, its a bug

i,m running vista on a sony laptop..

i didnt think it would work but it does
