Ok this is what u do

start menu>help & support>performance and maintainence

click on using system to undo changes

on the right hand side u will find alist of options

selec the "Run the system restore wizard"

by default the "restore my computer to an earlier time" option is selected

click next

here you will find a calender with few dates in bold font

remmebr the last date when all was working fine

select that date (u can change the month by pressing the side arrows on the month window)

click next and the yes

this should solve ur problem

if the virus doent allow the system to restore or is still there after system restore

the i suggest u update ur anit virus patch file (by the way which anti virus are u uing)
now restart ur system in safe mode (how- keep the F8 key pressed upto start up)

now scan ur system drives and delete any virus found

restart ur system in normal mode

The anitivirus which u are using jaya, is either inefficeint or is not updated if so if u hav'nt pls update it.

like i said update it start ur comp in a safe mode

and the scan ur hard drives

delete them if found

restart ur system in normal mode

dont worry it will work

by the way i finish work at 6 pm so i wont b online from then onwards

u will find me online from IST 9am to 6pm (2 HRS LUNCH BREAK) &2morow have taken half day

Anyways go ahead with the procedure i have listed

also i suggest u use anitvirus programs such as norton or mc-affee they are relly effective (dont forget to upgrade them after u install them)

also if u do plan to intall any one of the above ANTI-VIR PROGRAMS then after installing them unistall the previous antivirus program that was on us system as it will create conflict
