Hello,
I have recently installed BT homehub and have connected to my new computer without any problems. | also have a 2nd computer which has a Belkin adaptor and with which I can get wireless connection. I have also today managed to share my printer between the 2 computers. Don't really know how but working. The problem that I have is that my new computer has the new service provider details (BT)and I can get all emails etc..However my old computer although with connection still has all the details of my old service provider (Orange) and I am really nervous at trying to set this up to have the BT details. I also cannot get any new emails on this. I do not know if I should be running the installation disk from BT on my old computer to update and fear that if I do anything wrong I will have a blank computer. My old computer was on a speedtouch connection which I have already uninstalled. Can anyone help

Configuration: Windows XP
Internet Explorer 7.0

If you are having trouble connecting your bt home hub to an old computer that has a different ISP (Internet Service Provider) and you have an ethernet card in the back of your computer, (if you do not have one you can get one from most retailers such as Pc World, etc) you will have to click tools in Internet Explorer and click on Internet Options and then click on the tab saying Connections and then click on LAN Settings and a new window will open up, this screen will have 2 sections to it both sections have check boxes in and then you have to untick all of the check boxes and then restart the computer.

If this fails run the Home Hub CD and then the setup will configure your PC for you
