Problem with WMP 11 - Help!

Hello,
OK, so i am running Vista on my current machine and am having trouble with WMP 11. Whenever i go to play a video doesn’t matter what kind of video, all I get is sound. With music I don’t even get visualizations, but i do get the music.
I downloaded and installed the K-Lite video codec pack, and still nothing. When I run other media players I get everything just fine, but not in WMP.
If anybody could tell me what to do to get my WMP working I would be very grateful. Thanks in advanced.

Hi!
You can try one of these two solution:
1- Try getting a divx codec?
2- For a smaller download and less spam (the best solution in my opinion) try Xvid. It does the same job.
The reason why you have this problem in the first place is for some reason Windows never seems to have all the right codec's which are used to play the movie.
