Can i connect to more than 1 pc

Hello,
sir i am having bsnl broadband connection with tye-1 modem....can i connect to more than 1 pc ?
i purchased switch and i conected ....but at a time only one system is working....
please tell me what i have yo do.......

Configuration: Windows XP
Firefox 3.0.1

Pls go to internet explorer and give ur ip address
it asks password then in that u keep PPPoE always ON .....
