What is a TE2 device

Hello,

what is a TE2 device used for in an ISDN connection ? if any one can answer me?

This is a Hard Question. The TE2 is a device that does not understand ISDN standards and uses a four-wire connection. The TE2 must connect into a terminal adapter (TA) and then into an NT1 device to be converted to a two-wire network.

TE2 is a networking device. It is termed as terminal equipment. It is an advancement of TE1.
TE2s connect to the ISDN network through a terminal adapter(TA).

TE2 is used to connect any non -isdn device by using TA ( Terminal adaptor).
