Share internet connection winxp and Vista

Hello,

Guys need help with my computer internet configuration I have a connection with LAN connected to internet all of that is Windows XP Operating system its all sharing printer, and folder then we have a Toshiba laptop with Windows Vista operating system my problem is running this way when i connect the laptop vista to internet the windows xp will disconnect all. how to configure the windows xp and Windows Vista sharing internet?

YOU SAY U HAVE CONNECTION TO THE INTERNET VIA A LAN CONNECTION

MEANING THAT UR GATEWAY TO THE INTERNET IS A SERVER OR IN OTHER WORDS ANOTHER MACHINE

IN LAN THERE ARE CETAIN RESTRICTION AND ARE CONTROLLED BY THE USER ACCOUNT TRU IP ADDRESS OR USER NAME

CONTACT UR COMPANY'S NETWORK ADMINTRATOR FOR UR NETWORK

AND U WILL GET TRU ONLY IF HE PERMITS UR ACCOUNT

Thanks for the response in my problem

Actually i know the ip address of every computer that connect to the server all my problem is when i connect the vista all winxp is disconnected to internet and i already put ip address in vista at the tcpip properties

need another comment or suggestion

ok

when a company allocates an account to its employee the account / user are given certain privilages and restrictions that are controlled by ip address and user name, so may be ur ip address or user name (which ever controls) is not granted net connection

to verify change ur ip address & user log in name to the ip address and user name of a person who is given net connection and try to connexct to the net and ull no what i mean

if connects then pls contact ur network administrator for the changes

I have a network printer on the client system shared printer disconnected after reboot or shutdown system. we have to connect again the printer what problem could be. Our computer in a workgroup.

Hi.... which printer you have......

give a seprate id address to printer... and install printer software to each pc u want to connect or print..
