Need to connect desktop from router?

Hello,
i have my linksys router hooked to my laptop in my dining room ,but i need my dsl to work also for my desk top in my son room. how would i go about fixing that so he can have internet.
Configuration: Windows Vista
Internet Explorer 7.0

Easiest way is to connect ethernet cable to his computer from the router, or by wireless access to the router. The router will automatically assign dns and IP to each computer and they can share the DSL.
