im vanessa and i was wondering what do i do if my ipod only works on my ipod dock?

Well my ipod works Very well on my ipod dock but it just doesn't work if it is taken out of the dock. i dont know what is wrong with it ive tried restarting it and that works ok but after it is restarted its still the same...

Same here and i tried to get it repaired because i have the insurance on it but they said they couldn't fix it. But i got mine from wal mart so that's probably the reason :(
