Hello,

My Toshiba laptop suddenly shuts down. It is very hot. I do not hear a fan. Someone mentioned that such shutdowns might be caused by a dirty heat sink. Where is the heat sink? How can I access it? How do I clean it? Thank you.Configuration: Windows Vista Firefox 3.5.2

Dear JustinaJustice,

You will have to send it for repair for the simple reason that the fan is no more

working. If you don't send it for repair, it might bring up more hardware

problems such as damaging cables and causing other hardware components to

become faulty.

Thank you.
