Computer doesn't appear on workgroup

ChupaKabra - Nov 19, 2009 12:36pm GMT
Hello,
I have a workgroup in the office with 5 computers. They all see each other and add shared network drives from each other. They all have their IP Addresses determined, as well as Subnet Mask, Default Gateway, and DNS server addresses. And they all connect fine to the internet perfectly. They all have OS Windows XP SP3. Now I bought a new computer, named it, added it to the workgroup, and it doesn't see any other computers from the workgroup. When I gave it an IP Address, Subnet Mask, Default Gateway and DNS Server addresses, it doesn't connect to the internet at all. The other computers don't see it, and it doesn't see the other computers either in the workgroup. This computer pings and finds the other 5 computers, but the others can't ping it. Can anyone help me fix this issue? Thanks in advance!Configuration: Windows XP Internet Explorer 8.0
