Not getting sound

Hi everybody a friend just made a clean installation of my windows and installed all my drivers but ever since I cannot get any sound the make of my motherboard is an asus p5gcmx. Any clues guys?

Configuration: Windows Vista
Firefox 3.0.1

You should install the sound card drive, if you don't have the driver then try to search for it at softpedia.com
