No response from access point

Hey, i have windows vista for my pc and the internet suddely stopped working. the network im tryna connect to has full bars and every other computer in my house is connected just fine. when i try to use this network to get online it says
"wireless association failed because Windows did not recieve any response from the wireless router or access point."
i have restarted my router and modem several times and no luck.
help ?
