Hello,
When starting up my laptop it comes up the message SATA port 0 HDD user password. What is the password please.

Configuration: Windows Vista Internet Explorer 8.0

Someone set a hard drive password. Only they know what it is. Sorry there is no way to recover it. You should send it to the manufacturer for service. They MIGHT be able to reset it.
