I found an even better solution for cleaning HP ink cartridges that never fails to unclog the best possible for refilling new in or just plain unclogging.
first take a little bit of good old cheap white vinegar heat in small cup in microwave until hot not boiling, submerge ink cartridge about one quarter way for a few seconds, and the mild acid in vinegar will make cartridge color or black just like brand new again, works great give it a try.
