Hello,

I have a compaq laptop and I want to restore to factory setting, the settings when I bought the laptop.
but I dont have a recovery disc I try to burn it but it to recovery manager but it says contact HP for
recover disc, also when I restart my laptop then by pressing f11 a couple of times it doesnt show anything then
when I stop pressing it, then it normally boot up to windows.

Does anyone know how to restore factory settings of my compaq laptop without recovery disc?

thanks

Configuration: Windows Vista

Hi there,

without recovery disk its not possible

i think you deleted your recovery partition that's why its not creating the disks

contact hp for a recovery disk and its possible that you will have to pay for it

Thanks
