IDE and SATA HDD can connect in single mboard

Hello,
can we connect one HDD of IDE(160 GB) and one HDD 0f SATA(500GB) in a single motherboard, there are two (IDE,SATA) plugins available in mother board,Gigabyte moter board,processer 3.00Ghz,is it support....

Yes you can safely use both IDE and SATA drives at the same time.
