If you ring your provider they will be able to give you the code required to input to unlock your sim card again.

I took my phone into O2 store and was told they could not unlock phone. what happened was, I had moved my sim from my Nokia 6300 phone into a spare one, this got stolen, I reported the loss and a block was put on phone/sim, when i recieved replacement sim and put it in my 6300 my usual security code will not work, o2 said it was locked and that there was no way of getting the code??????

and can't call Voda phone for my daughter phone as both our phones are locked and don't have a land line
