Outlook 2007 THEMES NOT INSTALLED

Mojo - Aug 15, 2008 12:59am BST - Last answer on Feb 11, 2010 2:45pm GMT Nick
Hello,

I am trying to install a theme on my Outlook 2007... It says THEMES ARE NOT INSTALLED. I have gone through the usual steps of saving them to C:/programs/common files/Microsoft shared/stationery but still will not show up.

Now understand, this was a free update, not purchased... I have read where if you installed Outlook 2007 without Office 2007 you will not be able to access Themes.

Is there any way to change this?

Thank you for any assistance you can provide.

All I did to get around it as I couln't find a fix was make up a html file it word
then copied and pasted it into outlook as a signiture instead of a theme.

Just finished with Microsoft Tech support (no fee) & found that stand alone Outlook 2007 not included unless you bought the Office Suite, will NOT have stationary installed because it won't link with Word 2007.
As a work around you can create a message in Word and attach it to the email or reuse an email from someone else or create an email and save it to desktop in *.opt and use it in plain text.

They said they will forward to the design people...hahahahahaha, I bet.
