Connecting inernet modem to D-link wireless r

Hello,
I have a D-link DI-624 router and has cable type for connections but my internet modem has a USB cable for connection.How do i connect the two?I want to sep up a wireless connection so that i access internet on my laptop via the router.please help

Configuration: Windows XP
Safari 532.0

Hi there,

remove the phone line from the modem

and connect it to the router

then enter 192.168.1.1 in your browser

enter password and user name which you will get in manual booklet

and follow the instructions in it
