I am working on my daughter computer because it will not connect to the internet. We have a Westell 327 modem for Broadband. We have 3 computers hooked up thru ethernet connection on our computers.
I am picking up the on board ethernet connector but and it didn't work so I put in a seperate new ethernet card and pluged the ethernet plug into that on her computer. The computer picks up the card but will not pick
up the dsl modem. I don't know what else to try.. could it be my mother board? We all share the same
DSL Westell 327 modem because there are 4 hookups on it. All the other computer in the house work..
Have any suggestions? I am a 60 year old grandma of 11 and am learning by books trial and error how
to work on computers. Up until now I was doing ok with it.. lol but Now I am really stumped. Help!!!
