Sound does not come but driver is installed

Hello,
my laptop was repaired after it had the screen going off after a long beep and two short ones.

after it was repaired the sound ceased to come but the drivers and everything seems to be working correctly.

i use an hp dv6308nr

Configuration: Windows Vista Internet Explorer 7.0

Did you try to troubleshoot or update the drivers, or maybe one dll is damaged in windows !
