CD/DVD drive problem

Hello,

I'm using laptop Toshiba satellite L300-129 system unit. Suddenly, its CD/DVD drive has disappreared from the ' my computer' i.e., the usual place where I normally have been finding as CD/DVD RW drive(E). I think it's been uninstalled, Eventhough I have no idea how I did stupid thing to my laptop. The OS system installed is widow vista premium, service pack 1. Please, help!
