Installing vista recover for acer 4720z from

Hello,
i have acer 4720z laptop and vista recovery dvd.my dvd drive is not working.it is reading cds but not dvds.i brought one external writer and installing vista recovery dvd it is showing drive path error. can u assist me please.

Hi there,

you should boot by the recovery disk

change boot sequence in bios and make cd drive on boot priority

save and exit bios and reboot by recovery disk
