Wifi to computers

Hello,
Im going to put wifi in my room and I was just wondering if my main computer can get acess to the other computer towers without the towers being on? or do the other towers i am getting acess to have to be running in order to acess to it.

Configuration: Windows XP
Internet Explorer 7.0

Hi there,

if a pc is not powered you will not be able

to access it from anywhere even side by side
