IPod Wi-Fi

Hello,
I can't get my iPod touch to connect to my new router's network. I click on my routers name and put in the password and it states "unable to join the network." How do I correct this?

I guess this kind of problem comes from your new router and it's easy to know if you were able to connect with your old one means the new one is not good !
