Hello,

I have a Toshiba Satellite 1800 - 400 mobile I have acquired.

There is a fault with the screen. It keeps flashing on and off, is there a way I can check the connectors and can anyone give me a step by step instructions on how to do this please, or is it possibly another type of fault, is it worth my while checking the screen connectors.

Sometimes it will stay on for ages before flashing and other times I can have it on for a minute before it starts or the screen will go blank. I have checked the little thing near the screen which goes down when you shut it and this is not stuck and if I press it the screen goes off as soon as I let go it comes back on. Any ideas please.

Thanks

Configuration: Windows XP Internet Explorer 7.0
