acer aspire 9500, lost contact with netgear router. Now had router checked out, nothing wrong and computer showing nothing wrong, but won't connect to internet. Hookup as follows. Cable broadband modem, to router, to desktop computer. Then , installed laptop to home network. Worked for 2.5 yrs and now, will not find internet through router. Device manager says nothing is wrong with wireless 802.11g... so what could it be?
