Laptop hooked up to TV w/ HDMI Cable worked perfectly. However, after disabling the two cords from the TV, laptop no longer plays any sound.
I''ve gone to the SOUNDS Control, & switched the default back over to Speakers/Headphones - IDT High Definition Audio CODEC (the CODEC is the same for the Digital Output Device as well) however, there is still no sound. It does say it's working, & the volume bar flactuates when music is being played on laptop, alas no sound is heard.
Any helpful hints on how to solve this problem? Or may I have to contact DELL Live Technical Support?
Thanks for any input, my father has tried & got so fed up with it & made me try... but as you can see I'm having trouble too.
