Screen goes blank and i changed the vidoe car

Ok may I can ask this clearly....My monitor would turn on then the monitor would never bring a picture up so I changed he video card. Now that I changed it, it shows the Dell loading screen and then the windows. Afterthat the screen goes blank again. Is there something I need to do after I changed the video card. If someone could help thanks!!!!

Did you install the driver for the new video card. If not please do that 1st and reboot.

If you still have problem:
Try to start in "safe mode" (F8 during the boot process).

Then right click on an empty space on the desktop.
Then left click to select Properties
Then left click Settings
You will see a screen resolution slider on the left of the window if that is set to a greater resolution than the monitor can process you will not get a picture. You can try to drag the pointer to the left and try 1024 x 768 that should work on most screens. click OK and reboot to the normal Windows start.
